Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Nashville

No visit to Nashville is complete with a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. I have been to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum three times and even with that, I can’t honestly say that I have seen everything or for that matter, heard everything. This is a must for any country music lover and I have to admit, I am one.

You purchase your tickets on the first floor. They are not inexpensive at $24.95 for adults. You can opt for a platinum ticket for $39.95 which also includes Studio B, where Elvis among others recorded some amazing music and an audio tour.  Either way, it is worth it, this is an amazing place and you need to allow at least three hours to visit here.

Take the elevator to the third floor to start your tour through the history of country music. You begin with their roots in southern gospel music and continue through the most recent stars of Country Music. Not only will you see things, but you can also listen to music in kiosks that are located along the way. The wall of gold records begins on the third floor and goes down to the first. Some of the records open and you can listen to the songs.

On the second floor is the Country Music Hall of Fame Rotunda and you can spend quite a while just looking at all the many stars who have been inducted into the Fall of Fame.

The gift shop here is huge as you can imagine and the cafe offers a nice respite for lunch. I love this museum and if you opt to stay at the Hilton Suites Hotel you can walk here easily.
